Free AI training helps Georgians thrive in tomorrow's workforce

Emory’s Center for AI Learning, in partnership with Rowen Foundation and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, embarked on a statewide tour this summer titled “AI + You: Save Time, Earn More and Thrive with AI.” Featuring short courses, Q&A sessions with experts, and a low-cost online training program launching this fall, the initiative equips residents with the skills needed to leverage AI in their work and daily lives, keeping them competitive in the evolving job market.

AI.Xperience students showcase summer projects

Over the summer, Emory students from diverse fields of study participated in the AI.Xperience experiential learning program. Five teams of 44 students applied artificial intelligence to address a range of pressing issues including identifying bias in museum artifact descriptions, protecting artistic copyrights, and understanding the factors contributing to obesity in Atlanta. The program culminated in a final student showcase where participants presented their research to the Emory community.
